I've been cleaning out my basement and neatly tucked away is the stock exhaust from my R. I figured that I'd keep it incase I lost my current R, I could throw the stock back on that and take along my EuroSport Tuning one.
Now after having my EST one for a few years, I'd probably just end up getting an iPD one all said and done.
So I put it on the forums and CL. I started at $120, now all I want is $50.
JUST GET THIS THING OUT OF MY LIFE!
I'm doing local pickup only because it's a behemoth (10ft long, 50+lbs). Come to the Baltimore 'burbs and it's yours. It only has 55K on it.
On a separate note, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . It's the base 2.4, with navigation system, integrated boosters, rear dvd entertainment, climate package, and a 5-Speed Manual. Super Special Order.

I'd say keep it, and when you sell the car throw it back on. You can probably maximize your profit by selling the aftermarket one also.

If it were collapsable, I would easily do that. However, this thing is like 8 feet long and super awkwardly shaped.

Just do the dead body treatment, Wrap it in a tarp and stick it somewhere where it won't get rusty or any shit like that.

I'm mildly curious as to how easily this would fit my 850, and how much more efficient it would actually be.
Not that I have the resources to get it to Utah from Maryland, anyway. Just got me thinking.

I just spent most of today crawling under my 850R (the fuel filter, which looked as though it had never been changed, had rusted through and started leaking), and I'm fairly sure that it won't fit – the 850's rear resonator/muffler is flatter and wider, and looks to be located a foot or so further forward compared that one.
Still, the exact same thought crossed my mind!

Just out of curiosity, do you have an exhaust clip video?
I have a friend a V70R and I'm always a proponent for making your car sound better.

It's somewhat of a pain in the ass to install it on a non-AWD S60, so I couldn't imagine how it would be to put it on a non S60/V70 in general.
I doubt it would do much in terms of efficiency (you'd have to work with the downpipe for that), but I too am curious to see how it sounds.

Stock Exhaust: 10:15
I'm gonna make an exhaust clip on Sunday I think. Mine would be with a Eurosport Tuning Sport Exhaust and Eurosport Tuning Downpipe with a custom tune. It sounds gnarly.
